The VibraTrac™5 portable Stroke Monitor, developed by Carrier Vibrating Equipment in Louisville, KY, represents an advancement in the monitoring of industrial vibratory equipment. This device employs a wireless Bluetooth® sensor in conjunction with a mobile application installed on a smartphone or tablet, facilitating rapid data collection and analysis. Its ability to connect a single sensor to multiple devices allows for shared access across maintenance teams, optimizing resource utilization at an economical cost.

The VibraTrac™5 offers several noteworthy features:

<li>Use of a low-energy Bluetooth® Smart wireless sensor, ensuring prolonged battery performance.</li>
<li>Precise measurement of key parameters such as speed, stroke, and vibration angle.</li>
<li>Compact, lightweight design—less than two inches in length and under 30 grams in weight—enhancing portability.</li>
<li>Customizable equipment settings with pass/fail criteria for streamlined evaluations.</li>
<li>Storage of measurement data and user comments specific to each machine.</li>
<li>On-screen display of historical data for quick reference during inspections.</li>
<li>Capable of exporting data via email for maintenance records or sharing with relevant personnel.</li>
</ul>

To operate the VibraTrac™5, a compatible sensor is required. Carrier offers this sensor beginning October 1, 2014, at an introductory price of $325.
